After understanding your project and design goals, our team will work with you to determine the oil seal material specifications that will suit your needs. 

Before producing your Oil Seals, we will look at the requirements such as the following:

  • How will the seal be used?
  • What environmental conditions will the seal be exposed to?
  • What will it be sealing – oil or grease? 
  • Will the seal need rotary or reciprocal function?

Types of Oil Seals

Once we determine the operating requirements, we have then determine the material to use.

The quality of the oil seal materials is the most important factor. A selection of the most suitable rubber compound, metal and spring must be made with complete care. Any single one of these components cannot be overlooked.

Our compounds are proprietary mixtures of elastomers and other ingredients (in vulcanised or un-vulcanised states), including:
